We got back to the coach with a few Everton fan's bidding us a safe journey home but it was a good half hour before we were moving at speed again as the traffic in the area was very congested so I would recommend leaving plenty of time to get away from the ground. The reasonably priced chippys close to the ground are always a highlight but it was a shame I was still eating my chips when we conceded our first goal! Having heard that the pubs around the ground were quite partisan and almost all home fans only, we decided to visit a few pubs in the city centre.
