Even if you have a high skill in a certain weapon/magic, Serana will not comment on it, unless you have said items equipped. If you are on Xbox, only the latter method is available to you. If there are mods that do this too, do not use them with SDA- you will break Serana's brain! If you already completed "A New Covenant" on your current save, you won't be able to play through this quest. To see it, and for immersion-sake, talk to Serana RIGHT BEFORE entering the haunted house. - Since there currently aren't any voicelines for Orc and Bosmer commentary for now, temporary measures have been put in place to ensure the initial trigger dialogue doesn't fire, as long as the player is playing either of those two races. To fix this, just stop moving to refresh Serana's package stack. If Sofia stays with the adventuring party for too long (5 days) Serana gets annoyed and asks her to be dismissed. Over 160+ new lines! Serana will only give gifts within towns/cities. - The friendship variable is now optionally set through completing a set number of backstory dialogues with Serana. She will react positively to alcohol, flowers, and high value items- but negatively to the rest. You have been warned.
